Jennifer Space joined the n|e|m|d team in 2009. She received her Master’s in Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design where her thesis project involved designing an Addiction Recovery Center to be located in a former Navy Yard in Charlestown MA. Jen uses her undergraduate background in the sciences by using research and calculation in her design process. Having previously worked in the healthcare environment as a neuroscience researcher, she is sensitive to the delicacies involved in designing facilities where patient dignity and privacy are of the utmost importance. While at n|e|m|d, Jen has been involved in various projects including designing upgraded Labor & Delivery units, as well as a new research unit for Women & Infants’ Hospital in Providence RI, a complete facility overhaul for West Bay Orthopedics and a multi-suite Hospital build-out.
